PET has a melt index of 20–32 and is characterized by high strength, excellent toughness (with impact resistance superior to conventional plastics), high transparency (achieving glass-like clarity), and good resistance to both high and low temperatures (continuous use temperature range: -40°C to 120°C). It is widely used in packaging, textiles, and electronics.
