Product Description
CPP Film Grade is a cast polypropylene resin engineered for flat-die extrusion processes producing films with exceptional optical clarity, surface gloss, and heat-seal performance. Unlike oriented films, CPP maintains excellent elongation and conformability while offering superior moisture barrier properties and printability. This versatile material serves as an ideal sealant layer in multi-layer laminations, providing reliable seal integrity across a wide temperature range and excellent hot-tack strength for high-speed packaging operations. Our CPP-grade PP demonstrates outstanding chill-roll release characteristics and consistent gauge uniformity across the web width. The resin’s excellent anti-blocking and slip properties (with appropriate additives) ensure smooth roll winding and trouble-free converting operations. Retort-capable grades withstand sterilization temperatures up to 135°C without delamination or seal failure.
