Product Description
PP Extrusion Coating Grade is a specialized polypropylene resin engineered for high-speed extrusion coating and lamination processes where excellent melt strength and draw-down characteristics are essential. This material forms thin, uniform coatings on paper, foil, and fabric substrates, providing moisture barriers, heat-seal functionality, and surface protection. The resin’s controlled neck-in behavior ensures consistent edge coverage and minimal trim waste at elevated line speeds. Our coating-grade PP offers excellent adhesion to corona-treated substrates and maintains bond integrity under diverse environmental conditions. The material’s high melt strength enables stable curtain formation and clean edge quality without draw resonance or web breaks. The resulting coated structures demonstrate excellent hot-tack and seal strength for demanding packaging applications. Available with enhanced adhesion additives for challenging substrate combinations.
